Research & Information Specialists

Gradient has a state-of-the-art corporate library of over 145,000 documents from the most recent scientific literature to our extensive historical collection, encompassing information on a wide variety of topics.

Gradient’s Information Resource Center (IRC) provides project-specific research services using an extensive array of online search tools, internet sources, subscription products, document vendors, and information databases. Our proximity to the world class libraries of universities in Boston and Cambridge and to the Boston Public Library also allows us to leverage the deep resources of these institutions.

Our comprehensive holdings encompass information on a wide variety of topics from the evolution of waste disposal practices and industrial processes, to the changing state of knowledge of chemistry and toxicology, to federal and state regulatory resources and up-to-the-minute science. Gradient's in-house library is extensively indexed and electronically searchable, providing seamless access to this powerful information resource to all staff.

The IRC offers complete information management services including reference and research, document retrieval, database development, and records management. We specialize in complex document-intensive projects. Gradient's extensive experience ensures that critical project documents in all physical and digital formats are highly organized and searchable and also managed with appropriate confidentiality and security.
