Barbara Beck’s essay, “My Circuitous Scientific Path Through Academic, Industry, and Consulting,” was featured in the Society of Toxicology (SOT) Weekly Update on February 22, 2024.

Steven Boomhower, Jiayang Chien, Rosemary Mattuck, and Barbara Beck received the Society of Toxicology (SOT) Risk Assessment Specialty Section Award for their poster “Evaluating the Potential for Reproductive Effects from Intermittent Lead Exposures Using Blood Lead Modeling Under Proposition 65” at the SOT 63rd Annual Meeting and ToxExpo.

Julie Goodman was elected to the Board of Directors of the Academy of Toxicological Sciences (ATS).

Emily Kaye received a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences, with a focus in Pharmacology and Toxicology, from the University of Rhode Island.

Tom Lewandowski’s appointment as an Affiliate Associate Professor at the University of Washington, School of Public Health, Department of Environmental & Occupational Health Sciences, was renewed for the 2024-2025 school year.

Ari Lewis was invited to serve on the US EPA Science Advisory Board Environmental Justice Science & Analysis Review Panel.

Andrew Yeh was elected Secretary-Treasurer of the Pacific Northwest Association of Toxicologists (2024-2026).
