Manager, Information Resource Center

she/her

Ms. Albright is the manager of Gradient’s Information Resource Center (IRC), a state-of-the-art corporate library and information management service.  She has more than 20 years of experience as an information specialist, applying her extensive expertise to a wide range of projects, including business development support, news curation, copyright compliance, and document and information resources management. In addition, she designed Gradient’s corporate intranet and the IRC’s knowledge management databases.  At Gradient, Ms. Albright is responsible for all information resources and reference services, overseeing in-house bibliographic and knowledge management databases, managing the project descriptions database and corporate intranet, providing current awareness services to support business development and technical project work, and records management.  Prior to working at Gradient, Ms. Albright was an officer in the United States Air Force, serving as executive officer to the 615th Air Mobility Operations Squadron at Travis Air Force Base, California.

About the IRC

Gradient’s IRC is a key partner in Gradient’s technical work.  The IRC offers information management services, including reference and research, document retrieval, information systems support, and database development.  The IRC’s team of specialists provide project-specific research services using an extensive array of online search tools, internet sources, subscription products, document vendors, and information databases.  Under the guidance of IRC information specialists, Gradient has built a corporate library of more than 240,000 documents, ranging from the most recent scientific literature in our service areas to an extensive historical collection on a wide variety of topics, including regulatory and legislative histories.  Gradient’s in-house library is electronically searchable by all Gradient staff, providing seamless access to this exceptional information resource.

The IRC’s research librarians are experts in conducting historical research (e.g., business, state of knowledge), subject- and chemical-specific research, and regulatory and legal research, as well as peer-reviewed literature searches.  They are well versed in managing document searches and newspaper research (i.e., historical and current), locating topical data, submitting Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests, and monitoring news sources for current and emerging trends.  Gradient’s IRC specializes in complex research and document intensive projects.  This extensive experience ensures that Gradient’s scientific and technical work is fully supported by robust research and reliable, high-quality information services.
