Gradient helped The Methanol Institute develop a fact sheet warning the public of the dangers of using methanol as a hand sanitizer or disinfectant to kill COVID-19.  A multi-disciplinary team helped to research various methanol-related issues in the areas of human health toxicity, exposure, chemistry, and product regulation.  This work was done quickly to develop a rapid response that the Methanol Institute could use to warn consumers against dangerous use of a chemical.

The fact sheet “Methanol Safety During the COVID-19 Pandemic” is available here.
