Gradient Abstracts Awarded Amongst Top Ten by the Risk Assessment Specialty Section of SOT

The Risk Assessment Specialty Section of Society of Toxicology (SOT) Announced two Gradient abstracts amongst the top ten.

  • The abstract titled “Hypothesis-Based Weight-of-Evidence Evaluation and Risk Assessment for Naphthalene Carcinogenesis” has tied for Best Abstract Award for 2015.  Authors of this abstract are: L. Bailey, L.E. Kerper, M.A. Nascarella, and L.R. Rhomberg.
  • The abstract “Using PBPK Modeling to Evaluate the Concurrent Effects of Perchlorate, Other Goitrogens, and Iodine on Thyroid Status” has been awarded one of the Top 10 SOT Risk Assessment Abstracts.  Authors of this poster are:  M.K. Peterson, G. Charnley, and T.A. Lewandowski.

SOT’s 54th Annual Meeting, at which these awards will be presented, takes place March 22–26, 2015, at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, California.
