Scientific Testimony Regarding Technologically Enhanced Naturally Occurring Radioactive Material (TENORM)

Gradient Hydrologist Matt Tymchak, M.S. provided scientific testimony to the Health, Insurance, and Environment Committee in the Colorado State General Assembly for bill HB18-1215 – Concerning Enhanced Protections Regarding the Disposal of Naturally Occurring Radioactive Materials.  Mr. Tymchak’s testimony included the state of science regarding the technologically enhanced naturally occurring radioactive material (TENORM) content of certain wastes identified in the bill.
