Dear Colleague,
In this issue of Trends, we provide several articles on climate change-related topics.
Our first article takes a look at the proposed climate-related disclosure rules of the Security and Exchange Commission (SEC) for public companies and the role climate scientists and engineers will play to ensure these rules are followed. The second article explains how innovative downscaling techniques are being used to assess climate change vulnerabilities at the local level. The third article explores the importance of incorporating climate resilience into frameworks for the evaluation of remedial and corrective actions at contaminated sites. Our fourth article centers on the Stone Living Lab and their ongoing work with the City of Boston to advance nature-based approaches to climate change.
Gradient contributors to this Trends issue include Ali Boroumand, Ph.D., P.E.; Tian Tang, Ph.D.; Jeffrey T. Rominger, Ph.D.; and Amy L. Dale, Ph.D.
